5-5Gr pks
1 Pack good for 5 gallons
Ferments from 50 to 80 degrees
89 points – Wine Enthusiast
Over half of the grapes for this wine come from Lake County, California, best known for a warm climate perfect for growing juicy, ripe Sauvignon Blanc; the remainder of the grapes are sourced from Napa Valley and Suisun Valley
The fruit for this Sauvignon Blanc was picked during the cool, early morning hours and gently pressed
Container Grown One Liter
Plantable 12 Months (in most locations)
Easy To Grow
Chardonnay
California – Central Coast
2015
Import: DOCa Rioja, Spain
A blend of white varieties. After fermentation the wine goes with its lees into vats and botas, it ages in these vats for 8 months, with regular tastings. The uniqueness of this wine lies in the contribution of a small quantity of manzanilla sherry wine
Even subtle differences in growing conditions can strongly influence a wine’s character.
As the second site where we have planted Chardonnay vineyards, beautiful Santa Barbara County is slightly warmer than the Santa Lucia Highlands.
At harvest we pick the grapes a little earlier, creating a wine with natural acidity and crispness.
Refreshing, crisp and easy to enjoy
Flavors of apple, peach, citrus and tropical fruit
Versatile wine, perfect on its own or with poultry, pasta and pizza
Blended between our three vineyards (Knudsen Vineyard, Lone Star Vineyard and Spirit Hill Vineyard),
