He works only with traditional varietals, here Godello and the rare Dona Blanca
Godello is a perfect introduction to Spanish white wines for fans of Chardonnay
Perez makes wine in a non-interventionist manner, using native yeast fermentation and allowing the character of the grapes to come through
The Treana Chardonnay is bright and straw-colored, with aromas of fresh apricot, white peach and nectarine with orange blossom, caramel and vanilla.
On the palate, the Chardonnay is crisp, with a bright entry highlighted by ripe tropical and citrus fruits.
The mid-palate is clean with hints of guava, Mandarin orange, toasted caramel, and creme brulee, while the long finish is marked by racy acidity and a chalky-minerality.
2017
Import: D.O. Rias Baixas, Spain
Selected Albarino grapes from our growers who use our traditional growth techniques, 25 years old vineyards. Manual harvest, specially selected grapes, soft pressing before filtering them for 24 to 36 hours, fermentation at 46F
5-5Gr pks
1 Pack good for 5 gallons
Ferments from 50 to 80 degrees
Chardonnay
California – Central Coast
Our Chardonnay welcomes you to enjoy an ensemble of irresistible flavors.
Every sip satisfies with rich, creamy, character and crisp, smooth apple flavors.
The delicious qualities of our well-rounded Chardonnay complement seafood, chicken, pork chops, and creamy-sauce pastas.
Manually harvested from vineyards in Chile’s central valley
Dry, light-bodied, floral, and zesty
Perfect as an aperitif but pairs with citrus flavors and seafood as well
Even subtle differences in growing conditions can strongly influence a wine’s character.
As the second site where we have planted Chardonnay vineyards, beautiful Santa Barbara County is slightly warmer than the Santa Lucia Highlands.
At harvest we pick the grapes a little earlier, creating a wine with natural acidity and crispness.
