Description
We are located in Alto Chianti in Panzano, the last Florentine land of the province of Siena. Here you can find a typical Chiantigiana villa, that was once a convent and has now been restored and transformed into a modern wine cellar that possesses an old world charm. The property covers 70 hectares, of which 30 are specifically for wine and 20 for the cultivation of olives and vines. The vineyard faces southwest ensuring plentiful natural sunlight throughout the day and sits at an elevation of 450 meters. All of the winemaking, preservation, ageing and packaging of the products takes place on the property of the Fattoria. The facility is equipped with modern machinery and storage vessels that guarantee maximum protection against harm and damage to the grapes. On average, a typical harvest produces approximately 200 tons of grapes. Le Bocce Fattoria is situated in the historical town of Greve, within the municipality of Panzano, where ideal conditions for wine production can be found; The Podere Della Sala vineyards, an area within the Le Bocce Estate, faces southeast, favoring morning sunlight. The terrain consists of shale and clay hills on which you can find galestros and trees, positioned to allow the sunlight to reach the vines.
